Head south from Marrakech into the magnificent Atlas Mountains for a truly memorable holiday.

We have taken hundreds of guests in to the Atlas Mountains since 2003 and know it well. The hiking and mountain biking is spectacular and gives you an authentic flavour of this wild landscape, particularly if your route takes in one or two Berber villages. Our expert guides will show you around and can tailor your adventure to all levels of experience and fitness.

We suggest combining a stay in the mountains with a couple of nights in exotic Marrakech, where we have a huge selection of luxury villas, or riads and hotels with spas. Alternatively, head to the wild Atlantic coast (near Agadir) for superb beaches and surfing.

Weather and when to go

The weather is very changeable and depends on what elevation your planning to get to. The High Atlas Mountains have a typical mountain climate with very cold winters from November to March and cool, sunny Summers. The Middle Atlas Mountains get a lot of rainfall, especially from November to February. Summer temperatures average around 25°C whilst Winter temperatures can drop as low as -20°C.
