We're big fans of the Alps in the summer as it's the perfect playground for numerous fun, healthy pursuits - for adults and families. And much better value than during the ski season.

We have a fabulous, ultra luxurious chalet for you in the French Alps called Ferme de Moudon, near Les Gets. Base yourself here for a weekend, a week or longer and enjoy the pristine mountain air whilst your in-house team look after everything for you. All meals are catered, so you can get home after a day exploring the mountains on bike or foot, in the knowledge that a delicious lunch or dinner awaits you.

Apart from great hiking and mountain biking opportunities, you can go white water rafting on the River Danse, swim in one of the crystal clear mountain lakes, enjoy a yoga class on the chalet deck or treat yourself to a restorative massage to ease those tired limbs.

We can put together the perfect combination of action-packed outdoor entertainment with sublime relaxation and personal care when you want to put your feet up at the chalet and enjoy the magnificent views.

Weather and when to go

Snow starts falling in December with the ski season continuing right through to March. The Winter months stay below freezing, warming up in April and into the low twenties by June before the height of Summer when it hits the high twenties - even the thirties aren’t unheard of. The Autumn has temperatures in the mid-teens so you can still enjoy the mountains before the Winter sets in.
