I thought my holiday would be good but I was unprepared for how brilliant I would feel by the end of the week evening standard
Rafting on the Ayung River provides an unrivalled way to check out the natural scenery, wildlife and exotic plants of Bali.
The rivers around Ubud provide pleasant rafting conditions year round with enough rapids to make the ride exhilarating without ever becoming extreme (the Ayung river is generally class 2 with a few rapids reaching class 3 and so is fine for beginners).
Rafting also provides an unrivalled way to check out the natural scenery, wildlife and exotic plants of Bali. It is also a great way to cool off in the tropical heat.
We use the services of Sobek, Bali’s premier rafting company.
Duration: 2 hours on the water
Distance: 11km
Price: approx £75 per person or £40 for children.
Includes lunch, safety equipment, vehicle transfers, the services of experienced rafting guides and tax.
