Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu is a delightfully escapist resort island in the Baa Atoll, surrounded by pure white sandy beaches with a breathtaking lagoon, accessed by a 30 minute seaplane transfer from Male airport.

Whilst not as luxurious or quite as glamourous as its sister resort - Coco Palm Bodu Hithi - the resort's charming, simply furnished thatched villas are very comfortable, nestled in the island's lush greenery or on a jetty facing the sunset. All are designed to provide a sense of luxury and privacy in harmony with the natural beauty of the island.

A compregensive selection of water sports are on offer including snorkelling, windsurfing and sailing and the PADI Dive Centre caters for both beginners and experienced divers, and offer the chance to explore the amazing Baa Atoll. The resort boasts some of the best diving and snorkelling in the Maldives.

For relaxation and rejuvenation, the Coco Spa will pamper and relax you with a choice of eastern and western body and beauty treatments.

Excellent cuisine is served and prepared in the lofty tent-like Cowrie pavilion, the resort's primary restaurant with live cooking stations and excellent buffets. The Cornus restaurant, with views of the ocean, is more intimate and offers a variety of Asian and Maldivian themed dishes on an a la carte basis whilst the nearby al fresco Cornus Grill serves fresh seafood and grills by the beach. Stylish and casual Conch Bar offers snacks and drinks in a sand-floored venue and the Lagoon Bar is set on stilts with a wet area for swimmers and wading area or dry area for sunset cocktails. So, plenty of choice!

Accommodation

Beach Villas - (Sleep 2 adults and 1 child) are 87 sqm beachfront villas, with white walls and warm simple wood furnishings and cool tiled floors, with a king size bed and a private terrace with outdoor seating. The spacious bedroom features a high-pitched ceiling.

Deluxe Villas - (Sleep 2 adults and 1 child) additionally offer a fresh water splash pool in the front, with beach access by private path, and open air walled courtyard bathroom with sunken bathtub and shower to the rear.

Lagoon Villas - (Sleep 2 adults and 1 child) are 87sqm, built over the lagoon at the end of the island. The bedrooms over look the ocean, as do the bathrooms with large glass windows and a jaccuzzi bath. The sundeck has a private splash pool and direct access into the lagoon.

Sunset Lagoon Villas - (Sleep 2 adults and 1 child) and are larger and more prestigious at 154 sqm. They feature a spacious bedroom with king size bed and a beautiful living room with designer furniture, plus TV and DVD player. Villas are attended by a private butler and you are also able to take in-villa spa treatments.
