We’re absolutely delighted to share some rather special news: we have been named ‘World’s Best Spa & Wellness Tour Operator’ at the World Spa Awards for the second year running.
This really is a such a huge honour, and one that means even more because it follows our first win in 2025. To be recognised again among some of the very best names in global spa and wellness is something our whole team is incredibly proud of.
Last year our very own in:spa Retreats was also Highly Commended in the category of ‘Best Wellness Retreat in Europe’ at the Global Spa Awards.
Together, these awards reflect something that has been at the heart of what we do for more than 20 years: creating exceptional holidays and retreats for people who want to come home feeling genuinely better for having been away.
When The Healthy Holiday Company was founded (over 20 years ago!), wellness travel looked very different from the broad and sophisticated world it is today.
Over the years, we’ve built our expertise around finding the right experience for each individual client. That might mean a week at a specialist wellness clinic with a structured health programme, a restorative spa retreat, a yoga escape, a longevity programme or an active holiday combining exceptional hotels with tennis, padel, hiking or adventure.
And increasingly, it can mean something that blends more than one of these. That breadth is important to us. Wellness means different things to different people, and there is no single formula for feeling your best.
Our team take the time to listen and understand, then we use our first-hand knowledge to recommend somewhere that genuinely suits your aims, preferences and circumstances.
From our retreats in beautiful settings to our wider collection of wellness experiences around the world, the common thread is expertise. We know the places we recommend, we understand what they offer and we take the time to work out what is actually right for each client.
Awards are lovely, of course. But what matters most to us is knowing that we have given each client a seamless experiences from the very first call right up until they return home.
Our team has travelled extensively and built detailed knowledge of the destinations, hotels, programmes and people we work with. We look beyond the headline facilities to understand who a particular property or retreat really suits, what the experience is like and whether it will deliver what a client is looking for.
It’s this combination of specialist knowledge, personal service and carefully curated experiences that has always been at the heart of The Healthy Holiday Company.
