Coral Reef Club Barbados is a luxury family owned and run resort known for its elegance and seclusion. It is located on the island’s tranquil west coast, in almost 50,000m2 of gardens just paces from calm seas and epic sunsets.
Coral Reef Club has a heritage dating back to the 1950s. However, much of the hotel has been rebuilt since to ensure standards remain fit for the twenty-first century. When it comes to looks, Coral Reef Club maintains much of its original charm. Attractive whitewashed woods are paired with a plethora of neutral tones, for instance.
Arguably one of Barbados’ most indulgent beach stays, Coral Reef Club is an ideal Caribbean honeymoon destination. But at the same time, the hotel is equally attractive to families seeking out fun in the sun. There is a whole range of child-friendly policies, alongside water sports on the beach, and two mosaic tiled outdoor pools.
The onsite spa has several treatment rooms, each with their own patio and garden to enjoy beyond its therapy menu. Tennis courts come with their own complimentary coaching sessions, while two highly-regarded golf courses lie close by. Meanwhile, the Coral Reef Club restaurant has an a la carte menu altered on a daily basis. Its irresistible aromas drift across a dramatic outdoor dining space which takes full advantage of the site’s incredible sunsets.
Coral Reef Club has 88 rooms and suites. Each have their own balcony or terrace and air conditioning. Garden Rooms and Cottages can accommodate two adults in a king-size or twin bed formation. Suites also contain an open-plan living area with a sofa bed suitable for one child. Rooms and suites can be combined to create two-bedroom stays. Alternatively, guests can opt for the three and four bedroom villas.
Minos Palace Resort is approximately 50–60 minutes by car from Heraklion International Airport (HER). The hotel can also be reached from Chania Airport in around three hours by car. Transfers, car hire or private arrangements can be organised in advance for a seamless arrival.
