Ikos is bringing its signature brand of relaxed, all-inclusive luxury to Crete. Set on a secluded stretch of sand on the island’s quieter western coast, Ikos Kissamos is set to open in 2026 and will be a fantastic option for both couples and families looking for a peaceful getaway.

The resort will feature a choice of stylish rooms and suites, many with private pools and panoramic views over the turquoise Cretan Sea. Interiors will be contemporary and elegant, designed in calming natural tones with a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.

As with all Ikos resorts, the culinary offering will be a highlight. Guests can expect à la carte dining across the resort’s seven restaurants, with menus created by Michelin-starred chefs, plus the siganture Ikos ‘dine-out’ programme allowing you to experience some of the island’s excellent local tavernas at no extra cost.

There is not shortage of things to do for all ages, from water sports and padel, to yoga classes and enjoying any of the resort’s eight pools, there’s something for everyone. There’s also a serene spa by Anne Semonin if you’re looking to unwind, as well as supervised kids’ clubs, playgrounds and organised activities for children and teens.

For those keen to explore, Ikos’ unique Local Discovery service provides complimentary use of a Tesla to discover Crete’s rugged coastlines, mountain villages and archaeological sites at your own pace.
