2024 is cheaper than 2023 for many hotels right now!
With everything else shooting up in price from food through to mortgages we have some good news! You can lock in some really great rates now for 2024 at far lower prices than they are being sold for this summer. The most popular summer hotels this year will inevitably be the most popular for 2024 holidays too, in fact they are already starting to get booked up, so you can secure not only better prices, but also have a greater choice of room type, which could save you thousands! Typically the more reasonably priced room options get snapped up first leaving only more expensive rooms available if you leave it late.
Here are some live examples we’ve found today. Prices are based on the hotel accommodation only, not including flights:-
This is a gem of a hotel for solos, couples and friends travelling who want the combination of cool design and a huge range of fitness classes.
Example:
2023: 14-21 August – 7 nights – Superior Raw Retreat with Pool is the cheapest option available. With breakfast the room is £5595 for the week for two
2024: 14-21 August – 7 nights – A Classic Garden Retreat room is available at £2385. The Superior Raw Retreat with Pool is priced at £4775 (15% lower than 2023!)
IKOS Hotels
IKOS has become the name in all-inclusive family resorts and the hotels have filled up quickly this summer despite a higher price tag than previous hears. The IKOS prices for 2024 are currently listed at 5% less than 2023, but for families looking for the best pricing, the most important thing to note is that the cheaper room categories are all available now for 2024 and will get snapped up first!
Example:
2023: 1-8 August. For a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children ages 5 and 7) the cheapest option available at any IKOS hotel is a Deluxe Junior Suite at IKOS Aria, which is £10,232
2024: 1-8 August. For the same family booking for 2024, the cheapest option available is at IKOS Oceania, which is £7690.
Pine Cliffs in the Algarve is enjoying an amazing season with availability extremely tight across most of the room categories now in July and August this year. However the hotel is still allowing us to book 2024 stays at 2023 rates along with a 20% early booking discount!
Example:
2023: 20-27 August – A 2 bedroom Pine Cliffs Residence Penthouse (perfect for families) is £4635 , self catering for 7 nights
2024: 20-27 August – The same 2 bedroom Residence enjoys a 20% early booking discount and so can be secured for £3708
