The Turks and Caicos Islands are located in the northern Caribbean, an archipelago of eight principal islands and more than 40 smaller cays.
Rich in hidden coves, pristine beaches and reefs, the islands are positioned some 575 miles south-east of Miami. The picture above shows Parrot Cay and the luxury resort of the same name that we highly recommend as a superb Caribbean holiday.

Summer is from June to November, and you can expect the temperature to be between 85 to 90°F (29-32 °C) throughout the day. For those of you who do not like humidity, thanks to the moderating influence of the Caribbean Sea and constantly circulating trade winds, the temperature rarely goes above the mid-90s Fahrenheit (35°C) even in the late summer months. The sea has surface temperatures averaging 84°F (29 °C).
Winter is from November to May and you can usually expect the average temperatures to be between 80 to 85°F (27-29 °C), and ocean temperatures at the surface of around 75-80°F (24-27 °C). Still absolutely lovely, just a few degrees cooler than the summer months.
