Join Destination Yoga on a New Year yoga retreat in Portugal, which combines a beautiful hotel with excellent teachers (flown in from London) to deliver you an experience that will leave you feeling stronger calmer and uplifted.
Yoga on the Pine Cliffs New Year retreat will be taught by Liz Lark, one of the UK’s best loved teachers. Liz teaches a creative vinyasa style of yoga and caters to all abilities. She is accompanied on this retreat by Pete Roberts her husband, who is a mindfulness expert, Pilates instructor and physiotherapist to elite athletes. Pete will also be holding some sessions in the schedule.
The retreat will start on the afternoon of Thursday 29th December and finish on the morning of Tuesday 3rd January. You are welcome to arrive earlier and/or stay later as additional nights can easily be booked.
Accommodation will be in the main Pine Cliffs 5 star hotel. There is a choice of room types from Deluxe Room Resort View through to Sea view Rooms and Junior Suites.
The programme includes full board, which comprises a substantial buffet breakfast at the hotel after yoga. For lunch and dinner you will have a credit to spend at the resort but the group will gather for lunch at Zest and dinners at the different restaurants across the property, so you will always have the option of company at meal times. Healthy options are available but you will have a full choice of food from buffets through to a la carte dining.
Pine Cliffs offers so many different options for activities and relaxation. There is an award-winning Serenity Spa for blissful treatments, an Annabel Croft Tennis academy, a golf course, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness centres and additional fitness and Pilates classes open to hotel guests. Or you can walk for miles along the beautiful sandy beach and explore the nearby town of Vilamoura.
A typical day’s schedule will be:
9.30 Breakfast buffet
Free time for spa treatments, tennis, golf, beach, relaxation
7.30pm Group dinner
Prices are per person, and include 5 nights accommodation, full board and twice daily yoga sessions.
