The Best Time to Visit Vancouver

Luxury Escapes: Discovering the Best Time to Visit Vancouver

I have to be honest, I love all of Canada, there really is something for everyone in this vast country. But we’re going to take a deeper look at Vancouver today, let’s explore the best time to visit and the activities you can take part in during each season.

1. Spring: Best Time to Visit: April to June

Vancouver comes to live in full colour during spring. The iconic cherry blossoms adorn the streets and parks, creating a magical ambiance when you’re walking around the city. Visitors can enjoy private cherry blossom tours (let us know if you’d like to look into this), where an expert guide will reveal the best spots to capture that perfect photo!

Spring is also an excellent time for whale watching off the coast of Vancouver. Hop on board a luxurious yacht and embark on an unforgettable journey to witness the migration of humpback whales and orcas. You can even sip on champagne and savour gourmet canapés on board!

2. Summer : Best Time to Visit: July to September

Vancouver’s summer season offers so many options for holidaymakers. The warm and pleasant weather invites you to explore the city’s lush parks, such as Stanley Park and Queen Elizabeth Park, where you can enjoy private picnics and personalised tours.

For those seeking adventure, embark on a heli-sightseeing tour to soar over the city and its surrounding mountains. Capture breathtaking aerial views and then land at an exclusive alpine resort for an indulgent gourmet lunch, complete with local delicacies and fine wines.

3. Autumn: Best Time to Visit: October to November

Vancouver is truly beautiful in autumn as the golden colours creep in. This is a great season to enjoy some of the more active experience such as exploring the city by bicycle or visiting the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. This park offers captivating views of the Capilano River and the surrounding forest.

You could also head up to Grouse Mountain for some outdoor adventures. Here you can go hiking, take the Skyride gondola for breathtaking views, and even spot some local wildlife.

Additionally, autumn is the ideal time for private seaplane charters, offering unparalleled views of the city’s picturesque surroundings.

4. Winter: Best Time to Visit: December to February

As snowflakes start to fall in the city you can enjoy private snowshoeing tours through ancient forests. For skiing enthusiasts, indulge in a bespoke heli-skiing adventure, where a helicopter will whisk you away to untouched powder slopes in the Coastal Mountains. Enjoy personalised instruction from certified guides and unwind in a luxurious mountainside accommodation.

Of course, this is just the tip of the iceberg, there is so much more to see and do in Vancouver and the surrounding areas. It’s also a great city to add on to a multi-stop itinerary (you’ll find some examples of these below). To start your Vancouver adventure simply drop me a line for a personalised quote.
