TIA Wellness is a luxurious 5 star hotel located just outside Danang and is Asia’s first all-spa-inclusive resort, and winner of the ‘country award’ at the 2015 Wellness Travel Awards. This is a lifestyle resort that will appeal to those seeking total relaxation and daily pampering. TIA Wellness offers all guests a guarantee of at least two spa therapies every day (included within your room rate – whether it’s a massage or manicure). But, if there’s availability, you can book as many treatments if you like and they are all free of charge! And, as befits a holiday for total rest and relaxation, you can choose to have your breakfast at any time and anywhere in the resort.

The hotel itself is set in tropical gardens, with a swimming pool and a waterfall feature (plus a separate spa pool) to add to the serene atmosphere. Accommodation at the resort is offered in a number of suite and villa categories, each with modern, open-plan living and private pools in a courtyard garden. The architecture itself is inspired by the nearby ‘forbidden city’ of Hue, albeit re-interpreted in a modern style. For guests staying at the TIA Wellness, a complimentary bus is also offered to the historical and charming city of Hoi An, where you can explore the fabulous sites and attraction of this incredible UNESCO World Heritage city.

The selection of dining options at the resort includes the fine dining restaurant Five, the poolside restaurant Fresh and the Tonic Bar. The cuisine is fresh and presented with modern flair, using local ingredients in a tapestry of Fusion flavours.

Mini Maia<: To ensure the little ones also get to enjoy the Fusion Feeling, Mini Maia has been created to ensure that they also get to feel welcomed and important during their stay. Not only do Mini Maia’s get a welcome in the room with their own-size slippers and bathrobes, but they also get the chance to experience some of the spa therapies such as foot massage, manicure, pedicure and head massage, as well as creative hair plaiting. The fun activity schedule for the Mini Maia’s includes laughter yoga, cookie and hat decorating or dancing and singing.

The resort provides a complimentary shuttle service to Hoi An, about 20 minutes away. The service runs from 09.00 to 22.00.

Also worth a visit is Marble Mountain where Fusion Maia organises Tai Chi classes. Marble Mountain is famed for its stone sculpture craftsmanship. Visitors can walk or take an elevator ride up to the top of the mountain for a stunning panorama of Da Nang’s coastline.
