Situated in the heart of the island, in the traditional village of Ano Mera, Koukoumi was created to be a peaceful sanctuary for the discerning traveller. It’s the first vegan hotel in Greece. Designed to allow everyone to feel at home, guests can relax with an alternative and peaceful way of being.
Koukoumi Spa provides the ideal environment to enable guests to detox, stress release and wellbeing. Guests can rejuvenate and unwind with soothing massages, healing treatments for the face and body or by using the sauna.
At the Fitness Centre, guests can ask for help from either a certified personal trainer or a sports nutrition advisor. The gym has a wide variety of props, such TRX, elastic & resistance bands, kettlebells, free weights, balls (bossu, fitness, Pilates), sandbags sand disks, as well as a cross-fit rack a treadmill, a spinning bike and a rowing machine. For a more transformative stay, the hotel can put together a personalised nutrition and fitness programme for guests.
Koukoumi in the Myconian dialect means ‘sheltered from the wind, a cosy place for snuggling’.
There a range of suites at the hotel, all with simple whitewashed walls and splashes of colour on the beds. They range from the 30m2 standard suite up to deluxe and mastersuites (34m2) , which have views of the pool.
