Le Mas Candille

The eclectic mix of old-style architecture and modern facilities is the perfect balance of old and new.  Le Mas Candille has 49 rooms and 7 suites, divided into 3 living spaces: Le Mas, La Bastide and La Villa Candille. Guests can choose from authentically French styled rooms in its 18th century converted farmhouse Le Mas, or more modern and spacious rooms in the newer part of the hotel, La Bastide.  In July 2009 the hotel introduced La Villa Candille, with 6 new suites all with bright interiors, spacious sitting rooms, large bathrooms, high tech equipment and private terraces with mountain views.  Whichever option you choose, you can be sure of heavenly luxury in an inspiring countryside setting.

The big draw for many is the spa; currently Shiseido, but changing to Espa in 2017.  The spa also has a lovely outdoor hydrotherapy pool surrounded by sun loungers (and beautifully illuminated at night), plus a handy fitness studio.

Other facilities include:  two swimming pools, a jacuzzi, a Michelin starred restaurant, ‘Le Restaurant Candille’ and more informal dining at the Pergola.  And, if walking through the countryside or visiting local towns and villages doesn’t provide you with enough exercise, you can always hit the fitness studio for a workout.  There’s 2 treadmills; 2 exercise bikes; a rowing machine;  a cross trainer and a selection of free weights.

Children are welcome.  There’s a children’s pool and swings in the garden.  A children’s menu is available at ‘La Pergola’ poolside restaurant from May – September.  Babysitting can be arranged on request.

For golf enthusiasts, there’s no shortage of excellent courses nearby, including the testing Cannes-Mougins, home of the Cannes Open.
