Porto Zante Villas and Spa

Porto Zante Villas & Spa is a small collection of one to four bedroom, fully equipped, luxury villas and residences with heated pools, most with their own private section of beach. Guests can be completely self-contained and independent, or take advantage of the restaurant with its extensive Greek, Mediterranean and Asian menus, use the in-villa dining service, or even have your own private chef. There is a full concierge and maid service 24 hours a day and guests can have their own butler.

A kids’ club, play ground, and daily programmes for are available at the resort. Tennis, mini golf, horse riding, and other activities are also available.  For those looking for some pampering indulgence, Spa treatments can be given in the peace of your own villa. You can choose from a selection of over 20 Spa treatments, each inspired by Greek nature.

Zakynthos has long been regarded as one of the most beautiful Greek islands. It is the southernmost and third largest of the Ionian Islands and is situated 8.5 nautical miles south of Kefalonia and 9.5 nautical miles west of the Peloponnese. Its geographical position ensures easy travel to other islands and Greece’s mainland. The island has a wealth of history and tradition, as for many centuries it was the crossroads for numerous nations and cultures. The Venetians, who ruled the island in the Middle Ages, named it “Flower of the East”. Boat trips can be arranged to explore the many beautiful bays around Zakynthos, or to one of the other Ionian islands.

Previously voted one of the top 25 family hotels in the world by Conde Nast Traveller, children are very welcome here. The sandy beach is perfect for kids, as are the heated pools in all the villas. Parents can leave their children to enjoy the kid’s club, whilst they enjoy some time to themselves. The resort’s chef has also specially created a kids’ menu and babysitting can be arranged.

The shipwreck in Navagio Bay (which Condé Nast Traveller claims is one of the best beaches in the world) is a well-known site, and visiting the breathtaking Blue Caves and Turtle Island where the rare Caretta Turtles lay their eggs on the beach is a very good way of spending a day.

Guests can also visit the nearby island of Kefalonia on a short cruise (40 minutes away), an excursion to Ancient Olympia is also one of the family favourites. Or even some of the other beautiful Ionian islands. And if you don’t mind an early start, you could join the hotel’s fishermen to help catch supper.

Private yoga and pilates classes along with personal training are also available at the Boutique gym.
