The ranch comprises a series of simple single-storey log-built structures in a grassy paddock surrounded by low hills. Entirely off grid, it gets its power from the sun. A touch of the glamping spirit is brought to the ranch through the existence of outdoor shower and toilet facilities.
A legitimate wild west ranch, trips to Silver Spur are designed for experienced riders. Driving around 40 horses through the landscape is a magical back to nature experience. Guests must be comfortable riding across open country at the gallop as well as at a walk, trot and canter. The 24-32 kilometre riding days at the ranch and temporary campsites are sure to stay with you for a long time to come.
Cabins and high-roofed tents contain twin beds as standard. All food including snacks and non-alcoholic drinks are provided for the duration of your stay at Silver Spur Ranch. Post sunset barbeques around the campfire are a cherished part of the experience. Note: There is no mobile phone signal or WiFi available during stays.
