Everything about Sundance Guest Ranch is homely and inviting, with charming communal areas filled with rustic wooden furniture and lined with distinctive art and decorations. Each of the rooms has been largely constructed from wooden pine, adding to the authenticity of the frontier living experience.
Sundance Guest Ranch offers two horseback rides a day, with each ride lasting around two hours, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the sprawling, beautiful BC countryside. Each ride is led by one of the ranch’s experienced wranglers, who’ll ensure your safety as well as make the experience as enjoyable as possible. Plus, riding groups are organised into three levels, from beginners to more experienced riders, allowing you to progress at your own pace.
When you’re not exploring the Sundance Guest Ranch on horseback, you can take a relaxing dip in the outdoor pool or soak in the sun on one of the outdoor decks. You can also recharge in the games room, sink a few balls in the billiards room, or enjoy a film in the movie lounge.
To set you up for a day of horseback adventuring, the Sundance Guest Ranch’s dining room serves up a delicious breakfast buffet, as well as delectable daily specials from the grill. Then, when you return ravenous from your ride, you can satisfy your appetite with everything from charcoal-grilled steaks and burgers to international cuisine from their expansive set menu.
Perhaps best of all, with the dining room overlooking the pastures where the horses graze at night, you can watch them gallop free under a starry sky while enjoying a refreshing glass of wine.
Sundance Guest Ranch can accommodate 50 guests at a time, divided between its standard rooms and three king rooms – which feature a mini fridge and coffee-making facilities. All accommodation is arranged on a single level, with each room accessible from a covered wooden boardwalk.
