The Crimson Jasper is a modern take on traditional Rocky Mountain lodges. Situated in the heart of downtown Jasper, it places the town’s trailheads, museums and other attractions within walking distance.
The sleek modern structure of The Crimson Jasper certainly stands out against its chalet-like neighbours. Interiors generally comprise crisp lines and perfectly white walls, allowing the surrounding mountain landscapes to wow as they should. However, character is not missing thanks to individual touches such as crimson accessories and maple leaf cushions.
The Crimson Jasper is just one block away from the Main Street shopping and dining district. During the winter months this puts it close to skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating and fat biking. During the spring and summer months, activities instead range from hiking to paddling.
Facilities at The Crimson Jasper include an indoor swimming pool, hot tub and fitness centre. This incorporates a treadmill, elliptical machine, weights machine and free weights. In house dining takes place at the Terra restaurant. Inspired by the Canadian wilderness, its meals use seasonal, natural and local ingredients wherever possible.
There are 99 air-conditioned rooms at The Crimson Jasper. Standard rooms are large enough to contain either a queen (17m2), king or two double beds (both 32m2). They contain a desk, mini-fridge and microwave without feeling cramped. Accessible rooms are available.
Studio rooms are a similar size but come with an additional galley kitchen. The one-bedroom Signal Suite has a full kitchen, separate dining room, fireplace and two balconies with mountain views. The largest option is the two bedroom Kitchen Suite.
