March has been so fun and varied for us all at the Healthy Holiday Company with some very lovely holiday experiences organised for you all.
There’s been quite a bit of tennis activity! People are keen to hone their skills in the run up to summer so as always Pine Cliffs has been popular along with Las Terrazes in Tenerife. For other activity seekers there continue to be a stream of solos who just love the Body Holiday and head back year after year. For shorter haul wellness seekers then Shanti Som and SHA Wellness remain ever popular and again once people have been there they’re keen to go back. Our own in:spa health and fitness retreats remain very popular and are now booked out til June in Tuscany. We had a great meeting with One and Only hotels and are so excited about their new Siro hotels which will be exceptional new fitness options in Dubai and Montenegro opening later this year so watch this space for more news.
We’ve really extended our long haul reach this month and have organised an amazing tour of Japan for clients, which includes the bullet train, seeing the snow monkeys, stays in the wonderful cities of Toyko and Kyoto. We’ve booked the beautiful mountain-based wellness destination Santani in Sri Lanka, which works beautifully with an additional tour to include some beach time. We’ve also booked clients into the stunning Datai in Malaysia and for others we’ve put together a Vietnam and Cambodia tour including a stay at TIA Wellness in Vietnam (formerly Fusion Maia), combining a stay there with Amansara in Siem Reap and Raffles in Phnom Penh, to see the gorgeous Angkor Wat temples and visit the historical sights of Phnom Penh.
We’re delighted to be selling the exquisite new RAKxa wellness hotel in Bangkok now, which works brilliantly as a medical/holistic spa stay or combined with Chiva Som or Kamalaya . We’ve organised a luxury Bali experience including the beautiful COMO Shambhala and Canggu and are currently putting together some fantastic US ranch itineraries as well as Australia tours.
For families, for the May half term, the IKOS hotels have been popular, and for the summer, as well as some European favourites such as Martinhal, Pine Cliffs and Forte Village, families are scooping up some exceptional value holidays in Mauritius. It’s really worth comparing prices and considering a longer flight to a more exotic destination which offers incredible value. For the October half term, Zighy Bay is a favourite of our clients and the Caribbean is starting to book up for Christmas and New year. We have noticed some really good offers appearing for summer at Forte Village and Daios Cove, so if you haven’t yet secured your summer family break we can help secure you a great deal.
Esther and Leanne have both been travelling to Marrakech this month (including an exquisite stay at the Oberoi) so we’re full of Marrakech and mountains ideas. I’m about to explore the Southern Coast of Tenerife and will be taking my first Padel tennis lesson! Will report back!
