Summer – If you’re a sun worshipper then you won’t be disappointed by the weather in Cyprus during the summer months. June to August there’s around 13 hours of 32C sunshine, but in late July and early August temperatures can reach as high as 43C.
The high temperatures make the beaches perfect for sunbathing, and the sea is warm enough for all day swimming and watersports. In September and October the temperatures are still around the 30C mark and there’s around 9 hours of sunshine per day.
Winter – Cyprus is known as the island of sun and it’s no different in the winter. December to February enjoys temperatures of around 18C and you will still have around 5 hours of sunshine per day. An April Easter break will see you topping up a tan with 8 hours of sunshine per day and temperatures hitting 24C.
