Opened in September 2016, Banyan Tree’s latest outpost will be located on Morocco’s Mediterranean coast.
Finally, Banyan Tree devotees will no longer have to fly to Thailand or Bali for their fix. Soon, it will be a relatively short flight down to Tangiers for a stay at Banyan Tree Tamouda Bay, near the charming city of Tetouan. This will be the first all pool-villa resort in Morocco.

Morocco’s Mediterranean coast has a semi-arid climate with mild wet winters and hot dry summers. Average temperatures range from 5°C in the winter to 36°C in the summer. The wet winters and dry summers are similar to those found elsewhere around the Mediterranean. The best time to visit is in the Spring and Autumn with abundant sunshine during the day and cooler evenings, temperatures are around 35°C.
