Verdura offers guests of all ages and abilities the chance to learn or enjoy tennis on the floodlit clay tennis courts, supported by an excellent Tennis Academy.
The six clay tennis courts, floodlit in the evening for extended play and superbly maintained, are set amidst the Sicilian countryside and enjoy impressive mountain views. The Verdura Tennis Academy is based at a specially built clubhouse with changing facilities and a lounge, as well as a boutique shop for equipment hire and sales.
The Academy offers flexible, tailor-made training programmes aimed at all levels – from beginners to tournament players. Lessons can be taken with a partner, in a group or on a one-to-one basis, and guests have the chance to participate in tournaments each week during the summer season. There are also special events and tennis camps featuring famous ex-professional players. Junior guests are also very welcome at the Academy, with carefully structured programmes for children and teenagers.
