Today you will join a small group tour to Whistler. The journey will take you along fjords and inlets into the mountains, where you will stroll through the village of Whistler and take the Sea to Sky Gondola up onto Habrich Ridge, from which you have impressive views of the coastal rainforest and Howe Sounds.
Transfer to the station by coach and board the Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops, travelling in style in one of the luxury Gold Leaf carriages. On the way to Kamloops you’ll travel through a range of stunning scenery, from the lush green fields of Fraser Valley, to the forests and winding river canyons of the Cascade Mountains, through the desert-like environment of interior British Columbia, where you’ll stay overnight in Kamloops.
Continue on the Rocky Mountaineer in the early morning on your way to the Rockies in Alberta province. The journey will take you past ranch lands, rocky lakeshores, over high mountain passes and through remarkable tunnels. On arrival in Jasper you will be transferred to your hotel for the next two nights, the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.
Explore Jasper and Jasper National Park today on a shared group tour, taking in the history of the quintessential mountain town of Jasper and visiting Maligne Lake and Maligne Canyon. A cruise to Spirit Island on Maligne Lake is included.
Check out of the hotel and collect your rental car from downtown Jasper so you can head towards the lower Rockies. Stop off at some of the stunning icy blue lakes on the way to Lake Louise. Make your way to the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre for a guided tour of the Columbia Icefield glacier, one of the largest accumulations of ice and snow south of the Arctic Circle. The tour will take you onto the middle of the glacier. Afterwards you can visit the Glacier Skywalk, a 500 metre interpretive boardwalk and glass-floored observation platform extending out over the Sunwapta Valley.
Check out of your hotel and continue driving further south into the Rockies, making your way to the country town and popular ski resort of Banff. Stop off at Emerald Lake, visit Yoho National Park and the Spiral Tunnels on your way to Banff. You’ll be staying in the Impressive Fairmont Banff Springs hotel for 2 nights.

It’s time to head home – check out of the hotel and head to Calgary airport (1.5 hours drive) to drop off your car before your flight back to the UK in economy class.
