Hacienda Merida is a lovely historic property dating back to 1840 that’s been converted in to a charming boutique hideaway in the heart of Merida.
The decor is stylish and colourful (though a little rustic around the edges) with a mixture of the traditional and the modern. But the hacienda is a great value option that’s conveniently located for exploring Merida, the nearby Celestun Biosphere Reserve to spot pink flamingoes and other wildlife and, of course, the main point of staying here: excursions to the wonderful Mayan ruins at Uxmal and Kabah.
