The bungalow at Norwood commands a fine view of the eastern end of the Bogawantalawa valley and rests in the shelter of one of the finest bamboo stands to be found anywhere.
Norwood is one of four bungalows in the Ceylon Tea Trails collection. All are carefully restored planter’s bungalows situated in different locations in a stunning area of Sri Lanka’s hill country and owned by Dilmah Tea. Built between 1890 and 1939 each bungalow has its own style, but they all combine classical and contemporary styles.
As well as enjoying the ‘essential tea trails’ experiences, guests at Norwood Bungalow can also enjoy other activities, including:
The 5 suites are spacious, with imposing colonial style furniture, some with four-poster beds and very elegant bathrooms.
Norwood Bungalow is a 4 hour drive east from Colombo; a 2 hour drive south from Kandy; or a 4.5 hour drive north east from Galle.
