Sani Resort

The Sani Beach Hotel is the largest of the four hotels at Sani Resort and enjoys one of the best locations right beside the beach. Close too, are the resort tennis courts, watersports centre and the children’s club, with the marina being just a short walk away. A wide choice of child-friendly restaurants, a heated infinity pool and lifeguards on the beach make for the most relaxing family break.

With views across the gardens, lagoons and the marina, Porto Sani Village is an established family-friendly option. With the exception of the Junior Suites, all the suites at Porto Sani Village have separate bedrooms and living areas set within spacious low rise ‘villa style’ accommodation. The new Three Bedroom Family Suites are ideal for larger families, and those with older children. Families with younger children can use the dedicated crèche, whilst they take some well-earned rest, either by the heated pool, on the beach or in the tranquil Spa Suite for a treatment.

A more boutique and intimate offering is the Sani Asterias Suites with its exclusive stretch of private beach and heated pool. Each family deluxe suite is spacious and stylish with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a separate living space and garden area.

The Sani Dunes offers an elegant, grown up option and is great for families with teens or adult only vacations.

The Sani Beach Club enjoys an exceptional position at the far end of the resort, set on a hillside overlooking the beautiful bay and Mount Olympus across the Aegean Sea. Accommodation is in charming and elegant bungalows with equally magnificent views, and bathrooms with baths and separate rain showers. The Beach Club has its own children’s club and crèche, together with watersports and diving centre and an exceptional choice of restaurants and bars. A new fitness and yoga centre has just been added, ensuring this hotel has something for everyone.

Families of all ages are a firm feature throughout the resort and catered for in a variety of ways. Most restaurants have dedicated children’s menus and are well stocked with highchairs and open at family-friendly times, whilst a few are exclusively for guests over 12 years. To make a guest’s stay as hassle-free and relaxing as possible, Sani can arrange some extra touches in the rooms for children. Guests can use the crèche and children’s club, from 4 months to 12 years, that are located at the Sani Beach Hotel and Sani Beach Club, and the new crèche and children’s club at Porto Sani Village, (available also for guests at the Sani Asterias Suites). The free Teen Club is open in July and August only.

The crèche is very well-equipped with toys and there is a good programme of indoor and outdoor activities for all age groups – babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. There is a staff to children ratio of 1:3 for children from 4 months to 23 months and 1:4 for children between the ages of 2 and 3 years.

The crèche is operated by UK childcare specialists Worldwide Kids Company who work to Ofsted standards, policies and procedures.

Baby swimming lessons are available from June – September.  The lessons are in the indoor swimming pool of MySpa by the resort’s certified and experienced partners “Pirates of the Swimming Pool” and they are available for toddlers from 6 months to 4 years old. Each programme has five sessions in total from Monday to Friday, one per day, and the duration of each session is 30 minutes.

The kids’ club for 4 to 11 year olds is complimentary and is available from 10.00-18.00.  It has everything from Mini-Olympic Games on the beach to short excursions and picnics, pool games and water polo in the hotel’s separate children’s pool, outdoor playgrounds, evening entertainment with high quality stage shows for the whole family in the peak summer season and mini disco throughout the season, Face painting, T-shirt painting, gymnastics, kids aerobics, shell collecting, treasure hunt, sand castle day…

The Sani Teen Club is for 12 to 17 year olds.  The Teen Club offers supervised activities that take advantage of everything that Sani Resort has to offer. Some activities are payable and costs are advised on the hotels weekly activity programmes.  Teenagers (12-17 years old) at Sani Resort get the opportunity to experience the natural environment and get involved in its protection as they participate in fun outdoor activities, nature observation and citizen scientist programs.

Babysitting:  Evening babysitting can be requested in advance. For prior requests this will be confirmed on arrival in resort. This is subject to staff availability. Babysitting costs €10 per hour and is payable directly to babysitters. If the babysitter is required after 10.50pm there is a surcharge of €15 to pay for a taxi for the babysitter.

Dining options with children at the hotel:  Lunch and dinner for children will be supervised from 13.00-15.00 and 18.30-21.30 in the main buffet restaurant and be charged to your room where appropriate. Lunch sessions are complimentary for children over 4 years old as long as they stay on full board basis.  Otherwise, meal charges apply.
