A spacious high-ceilinged sitting room and library, adjoin the breakfast room, all of which are filled with contemporary furnishings and eclectic African art. The breakfast room leads to a cobbled courtyard frequented by the resident Hadedahs attempting a dip in the refreshing plunge pool. Guests are welcome to use it too! It provides a welcome cooling dip after you’ve spent enough time relaxing on a sunlounger catching some rays.
As Welgelegen is simply a well priced guesthouse, there is just one spa treatment room, a plunge pool and a small sunbathing area at the property. However, as it’s located in the heart of Cape Town, there’s hundreds of activities available on your doorstep to keep you busy and entertained.
