Carved into the Monastero Santa Rosa barrel-vaulted stone foundations, the ingenious four-level spa’s rock sauna, aromatic steam room, ice fountain, hydro pool, tepidarium (based on the one found at Pompeii), and large treatment rooms—including a huge double-height spa suite—occupy a variety of seamlessly interconnected nooks and alcoves.
