In high season in the summer, the climate is very hot and the coast’s single road is really busy, and often has long tailbacks. The beaches, restaurants and tourist attractions are all exceptionally full and busy and this is when the season has it’s most ‘buzz’. We feel that the best time to visit is in spring (April to early June) or autumn (September and October) when it is slightly cooler, but still with lovely weather, and less hectic than in peak summer.
