7 day guided hiking traverse in the dolomites
A superb hiking traverse from Alta Badia to the Val di Fassa and across some of the Dolomites most spectacular mountain ranges including: Sella, Rosengarten, Catinaccio and Vajolet. Explore by foot some of the most incredible areas in the Dolomites and three of the valleys of the famous Sella massif, Val Badia, Val Gardena and Val di Fassa. All these valleys are populated by Ladin speakers and you will often notice paths signed in Ladin, German and English.
Start/Finish: Alta Badia (Flights to Innsbruck / Venice) Activity Level: For everybody in good and active physical health.

Arrive in Alta Badia, check-in to Ciasa Ai Pini in San Cassiano and be met your expert guide in the afternoon for a trip briefing.
Start off with a warm-up hike in Puez Odle Natural Park, spotting ‘Chamois’ (mountain goat-antelope) along the way and stop for a re-fuelling lunch at a rifugio, sampling local delicacies. Spend the afternoon relaxing in San Cassiano or exploring the local culture.
Explore the great networks of paths in the Sella Massif and spend the night at a charming rifugio with superb views of the Marmolada Glacier, the ‘Queen of the Dolomites’.
Hike along to Forcella Pordoi and marvel at spectacular views of the glacier and onto the Val Lasties and under the rock walls of the Piz Ciavazes to the lovely 4* Hotel Posta Zirm in Corvara for the evening.
Travel by bus to Passo Sella where we will begin our hiking for the day, along the Friedrich-August path, towards to Pas de Dnona and Rifugio d’Antermoia we you’ll spend the night.
Today you’ll hike through the fairly tale world between the rock walls of Catinaccio where some of the most beautiful tales of the Dolomites were inspired. Enjoy lunch at the Rifugio Catinaccio and afterwards hike down to the Val di Fassa. Dinner and accommodation in the evening at Ciasa de Munt in Corvara.
