Hike the ladin valleys of val gardena, val di fassa, & alta badia
A fantastic way to explore three of the South Tyrolean Ladin Valleys with amazing views of high mountain passes, dramatic peaks and beautiful green valleys, as well as the picturesque towns of Val Gardena and Alta Badia. Explore by foot some of the most incredible areas in the Dolomites, and stay at some wonderful mountain rifugios. All these valleys are populated by Ladin speakers and you will often notice paths signed in Ladin, German and Italian.

Arrive in Val Gardena, check-in to hotel and be met your expert guide in the afternoon for a trip briefing.
You’ll start the day with a short transfer to the town of Ortisei and take the funicular to Rifugio Malga Saltner where your hike will start, heading up to Rifugio Brogles for a drink before heading on up on quite a steep incline through Forcella Pana and through the Odle Spires. Enjoy a delicious lunch in Baita Sofie before descending down via gondola.
Morning transfer to Passo Sella starting on a wide trail hiking into the heart of the massif to Rifugio Vecenza. After lunch continue through a beautiful green landscape toward Murmeltier Hutte for a well earned break before hiking the final Km to your rifugio for the evening.
You’ll start your hike today accorss the Catinaccio massif, arguably the most recognized landmark of the Dolomites. You’ll start off hiking accross the luscious green Siusi Ridge, continuing on through the rocky terrain until Passo Molignon until reaching your rifugio for the night perched on Passo Principe, where you will enjoy fantastic panoramas.
You will descend from the rifugio down to Val di Fassa where your hotel for the night is. Today is your chance to see some mountain wildlife – chamois, marmots, roe deer and if you’re lucky a mouflon!
You will take a 30 minute transfer form your hotel and then traverse along the south face of the Sella Massif. This wonderful trail will take you toward the Rifugio Kostner for a well-earned lunch. From here you have a 20minute walk before jumping on the chair-lift down to Corvara in Alta Badia. You then have the afternoon to relax in the hotel pool and spa.
