Amandari, meaning ‘peaceful spirits’, is a luxurious Balinese village-style resort offering guests a tranquil and spiritually enriching experience.
Amandari has river-stone walkways between its 30 stunning suites, situated on sacred land that is interwoven with the local community and their peaceful culture. All of the luxury suites are Balinese in style, beautifully crafted in coconut wood and teak with sloping roofs layered with traditional alang alang thatching. In classic Aman style, the interior design and furnishings provide guests with an elegant, comfortable, spacious environment with plenty of indoor and outdoor living space – making it feel like your own private sanctuary.
Open-air dining in the teak framed restaurant is an experience in itself – at night the adjacent pool is beautifully lit and you can dine on delicious fresh local, Indonesian or Western food accompanied by the gentle sounds of the gamelan orchestra playing in the nearby music pavilion.
Amandari comprises 30 Balinese styled luxurious and spacious suites, categorised as Village Suites, Valley Suites or Pool Suites. Each has a private garden courtyard where you can relax on your private bale and many of the suites also have stunning private pools. All of the suites have lovely views over the lush gardens or the Ayung River Valley.
