The small island of Gozo lies a few miles north west of Malta and offers a wonderfully tranquil (or active!) experience for those that make the effort…
Gozo has been inhabited since 5,000 BC and has experienced many diverse cultures over the past centuries, including Phoenicians, Romans, Arabs and the British – before declaring independence in 1964.

The region enjoys long hot summers and mild winters and should be considered a year-round destination. Because of the weather on Gozo, travellers visit to sunbathe almost all year long – except for some of the coolest winter months. We therefore suggest that the best months to visit are from April to October.
