Unlike most of India, which is extremely hot in the Summer months, the Karnataka region enjoys a relatively mild climate all year round. The Summer lasts from February to May and is hottest during April and May reaching 36°C.
The Monsoon Season is from June to October, the rain is at is heaviest until August. Winter sets in in November through to January being at its coldest in December when the temperature hovers around 12°C.
