Six Senses Zighy Bay is located in a secluded bay on Oman’s Musandam Peninsula, hidden behind a range of dramatic mountains and set on a splendid 1.6km sandy beach. It’s an ideal wellness retreat to get away to relax, recover and have time to think and recharge! The resort resembles in many ways a traditional Omani village, with narrow passages between the individual villas and palm shaded, sandy roads and is an almost car-free environment. Each of the Six Senses Zighy Bay villas is carefully designed and furnished to reflect local Omani culture, and features its own ‘infinity pool’ – hidden away to ensure maximum privacy and tranquillity.
Six Senses Zighy Bay consists of 82 beautifully designed and decorated pool villas which blend into the landscape. The villas are built as an adaptation of traditional Omani style and are generous in size. Each villa has an infinity pool which is complimented by the surrounding palms and an inviting seating area. Some of the private villas are beachfront, others have garden views and some come with their own in-villa spa area. The Private Reserve has its own stretch of private beach and 3000 m2 of exquisitely decorated space as well as your own private live-in butler.
Zighy Bay is approx. 120 kilometres, (about a two-hour drive) from Dubai International Airport, which is the gateway city to Zighy Bay.
Owing the unique location of the Six Senses Zighy Bay guests have the choice of three arrival experiences: a scenic fifteen minute speedboat trip; a winding 4×4 drive down from the hilltop overlooking the bay; or, for the ultimate arrival experience, fly in on a paraglider!
