Meditation in Koh Samui at Kamalaya and Absolute Sanctuary
On the lovely Thai island of Koh Samui, one of our favourite boutique wellness resorts – Kamalaya – offers a programme called Embracing Change which is ideal for those seeking to enrich their emotional wellbeing and life fulfillment. It’s not specifically a meditation retreat, but if your goal is to find inner peace and emotional wellbeing, the Embracing Change programme at Kamalaya (for 5 or 7 nights) may be the right option for you.
The focus throughout is to address current life situations with effective tools to restore emotional balance. It’s suitable for anyone seeking support for life change and life challenging situations of any kind, to prevent the stress build-up that often results in emotional burn-out, as well as for targeting emotionally-driven eating habits, relationship issues including loss or break-ups, work related difficulties, anxiety and grief.
The programme offers an experience of self discovery and growth both during your stay at Kamalaya and when you get home, using the tools you’ve learnt during the programme.
For those who want a more structured, mindfulness-focused programme, Absolute Sanctuary offers a dedicated 8-night Mindfulness Retreat. Set in a beautiful Moroccan-style property on the quieter north of the island, it’s a more boutique and affordable option than Kamalaya, with an excellent daily class schedule and a warm, supportive atmosphere. Their De-Stress and Recovery retreat is another strong option if stress management is your primary goal.
